The Learning Space <- Foundation Project Management
This course introduces you to the principles, practices and processes of project management. You will learn how to define your project’s requirements, then how to plan, execute and control your project, from concept through to final delivery, using best practices, methodologies and tools.
The course is designed for all aspiring project managers and others who have been given the responsibility of running a project, or wish to develop or expand their knowledge of project management. No previous knowledge of project management is assumed as training will start from the basics and build up from there.
While there are no specific prerequisites for this course, if you are new to project management, it is advisable that you first take the “Starting in Project Management” course to gain a basic understanding of project management.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be better able to:
- Understand the principles of project management.
- Be able to establish and plan a project.
- Know how to conduct a risk assessment.
- Be able to plan a data inventory and gap analysis.
- Understand how to implement change in data processing procedures.

| Deliver and Close your Project The purpose of the Close Phase is to submit completed deliverables from the project for customer sign-off, then close the project.
